After a long day of work, I like to pour myself a glass of Dr. Pepper and throw a meatball and mozzarella Hot Pocket, or a Boston Market TV dinner in the microwave and end with a bag a Doritos.

I’ve about had it with the news media today. Well, to be truthful, I’m kind of just pissed off at the whole world, but a lot of my anger comes from and is directed at the news media. I know I shouldn’t shoot the messenger, but that’s not why I’m angry. Pretty much, what it all comes down to is the lack of news and the morons they allow to be on the news that really gets to me. So I’m not so much shooting the messenger as I’m asking him, “What makes you think I care?”

I hate my brain. My brain is the one that makes me hungry. My stomach is the location of the signal, but it's all my brain’s fault; specifically the unconscious part of it. My brain is evil. It makes me hungry at the worst times.

April 16, 2007 is a day that will now be remembered for the largest
school shooting in the history of the United States. As I woke up
Monday morning, I turned on the television to see every news channel
occupied with the difficult task of reporting the horrible massacre
that took place at Virginia Tech. Tech, which is one of the more
prestigious universities in the country—along with its constant
coverage of college athletics, is now being examined in a totally
different way.

I’ve been friends with this guy since high school. I’ve always seen him
as a friend until recently. He has been working out and looks very
different than he did before. I kind of have a little crush on him. Do
you think I should tell him how I feel? Do you think it can work out
between us?

There’s nothing like being a five-year-old in kindergarten. You got to
finger paint, color, learn your ABC’s and eat paste; oh, and telling
your teacher to shut the hell up or I’ll kick you. At least that’s
what’s going on at Prendergast School in Ansonia. My mother is a
teacher’s aid for one of the kindergarten classes there. She’s been
doing it for fifteen years. I’d say she’s pretty much an expert when it
comes to tying shoelaces and wiping runny noses.

When people think of Captain America, they think of truth, justice and the American way—in comic book form. He’s defeated Nazis. He’s taken down villains all over the Marvel Comics universe since 1941. Recently, he was shot in the stomach,
without his unbreakable shield to save him. But what was the point of killing him? Was it to develop his “character” or to just boost sales?
